"GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE"
- All pupils are expected to take active part in all co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the school.
- Parents and Guardians are requested to see that their children attend school punctually. They are asked to
co-operate by enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking a general interest in the progress of their ward.
They should check the diary regularly and note the teacher's remarks, circular page etc.
- Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, or misconduct are injurious to general tone of the school
and are sufficient reasons for the expulsion of the pupil.
- Pupils who have been absent in the respective class for less than 3 days must have the reason that will be entered
in the regular record book briefly stating the cause of absence or delay in case of sickness. If it is 3 days or more
than 3 days, a doctor's certificate is to be attached with the letter from the parents.
- No objectionable books, periodicals, pictures, newspapers, or any other reading matter shall be brought into the class.
- Every pupil is expected to contribute from time to time a small amount towards educational related activities, school
shows, religious functions and social work.
- Pupil should be responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings unless specially requested. No pupil
should carry a lot of money to school. They are not permitted. to attend school wearing expensive jewellery. The school
will not take any responsibility for the loss or theft of jewellery, cash or any other belongings.
- Students are not allowed to bring cell phones, cameras, pods or Walkman’s to school. Henceforth, if any child is
found to be carrying using the mobile phone/iPod/cameras within the school premises/classroom then the same will be
confiscated and only the sim card shall. be returned. The handset will be returned as and when applicable. Apart from
the above, the school reserves its rights to suspend the student for such activities.
- If any student damages/mishandles the school property, writes objectionable/vulgar language on the school walls/desks,
strong disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. besides recovery of the damages as suggested by the management.
Such activities on the part of students may lead to their expulsion from the school.
- Students are not allowed to apply mehandi on their arms, colour their hair and have long nails with polish.
- Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or meet teachers during school hours without the
permission of the school authorities or without prior appointment.
- Pupils are expected to behave well and address their teachers and all members of the staff with due respect and
politeness. They should show gentleness and courtesy to their companions.
- Enrolment in the school implies willingness to comply with the rules and regulations of the school on the part of
the pupil and parents.
- All correspondence from parents must bear the child's full name, class and section.
- Parents should not send any child to school if he/she is unwell or suffering from any infectious ailments.
The usual quarantine period must be followed. When such pupil rejoins the classes, a doctor's certificate of fitness
must be produced.
- Regular attendance is very essential for every student. Percentage of attendance (at least 75%) will be taken into
consideration while granting promotion. Absence from school in order to study is strictly not allowed.
- Children should come to school on time. If they are marked late more than 3 times they will be sent home.
- No child, having once come to school, can leave during school hours except in cases of extreme necessity.
- Parents and Guardians are requested to be punctual in collecting their children from the school. School authorities
will not be responsible for the student's late behind more than half an hour after the closure of the school.
- Escorts must carry the I.D card while collecting their ward. No child will be allowed to go home till the I.D card
is produced by the escort. Any change in the manner of going back. home should be informed to the school authority.
If the child, returning home on her/his own responsibility, must bring a letter from her/his parents.
- Any change in the residential/business address and phone number must be intimated to the school in writing at the earliest.
- No item can be delivered to the classroom after 10:50 a.m.
- Parents cannot send a message or call any child over the phone.
- All communication to the school should be addressed to the principal.
- Any student returning late for a term of after a vacation (except with a written permission obtained from the principal
in advance) will be detained for extra hours of remedial work as assigned by the class teacher. Parents are advised to ensure
the presence of their ward on the day of reopening of school after any vacation or break so that the child does not miss
out the assessment/examination schedule on that day.
- Parents are requested to ensure that the students attempt to complete all said assignments within the given time.
Any student negligent about her/his work will be given remedial punishment. Students will do their homework himself or herself.
- Parents are advised to follow the rules and regulations for payment as available from school office and any amendment
as communicated to them from time to time in this regard by the Principal. Fees up to the months of September and March
must be paid before the commencement of the Half-yearly and the Annual examination respectively, failing which the child
will not be allowed to sit for the respective examination(s).
- The Report Card, I.D card and the fee book must be preserved carefully. In case those are torn/mutilated/defaced, a
duplicate will be issued against their respective charges- duplicate report card: Rs 300.00 (Three hundred) only, duplicate
I.D card: 50.00(fifty) only.
NOTE:
- This notebook is to be brought to school every day.
- It is to be maintained neatly.
- The daily note-sheets herein should be checked by the guardians regularly. Notes from the guardian to the class teacher
if any, are to be written on the Guardian's Remarks page and the pupil should be asked to produce the same to the class
teacher personally.
- Applications for leave/absence are to be written by the guardian. It is to be produced to the specific class teacher,
either before the date of leave where possible, or alternatively, on the date on which the pupil joins the classes after
the leave is over. Medical certificate is required for student who is absent more than three days.
- The guardian will please go through the rules and codes of discipline printed herein carefully, and co-operate with the
school authorities for their implementation.
- Parents are requested to notify the Principal if any change of address or telephone number. Some Special instructions
of the School.
- Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence, habitual late coming, disobedience or objectionable behaviour
of any kind may result in removal of a student from school.
- Parents or Guardians are liable to pay the cost of school property broken or damaged by their child/children, and in
addition disciplinary action will be taken when such damage is wilful.
- School begins with the morning assembly and students must be on time for it. If not they will be penalised.
- Students are responsible for the safe custody of their own book and belongings. Each article should be marked with
the student's name.
- Every student must be in possession of his/her school diary on every working day. Non-compliance with this rule may
debar the child from attending school for the day.
- No student will be allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours except on the strength of a letter
of authorisation from his/her parents/ guardian.
ATTENDENCE:
- A pupil will be eligible to appear in the session ending examination if he / she completes his/her 75% attendance.
LIBRARY RULES:
- Strict discipline and silence are to be observed in the Library and Reading room.
- A student from class VI to XII can borrow one book at a time.
- Library books can be issued and returned during Library period only and not in any teaching period.
- Library books should be properly looked after an deposited on the due date.
- Students will return their library books before the Session ending Exam. Incase if any one is not able to return the
books in proper time, they will not get their Report Card.
FOR PARENTS / GUARDIANS:
- Parents / Guardians are requested to co-operate with the school authorities:
- By urging their wards to be regular and punctual in attendance.
- By not engaging tutors without consulting the school authorities.
- By seeing that their wards are diligent at their home work and lessons.
- By insisting on neatness and cleanliness in their books, exercise-books and personal appearance.
- By occasionally contacting the principal to discuss the progress of their wards.
- Parents/Guardians are not allowed to see their wards or visit teachers during class hours without the special
permission of the principal.
- All parents are expected to attend all parents’ teachers meeting at the open house session. Other than the father
or the mother no other person will be entertained.
- Parents / Guardian’s who went to admit their wards into this school must be ready to abide by the rules and regulations
of the school and their wards must do the same. If unwilling to follow the rules after taking admission, they are
free to leave.
- School will take action against the following Conducts
- Misbehaviour towards teachers or any other employee of the school.
- Intentional disturbance of classes.
- Absence from classes without the permission of the Principal / Vice- Principal/ T.I.C./ Teacher.
- Bullying/intimidation of others.
- Eve-teasing/misbehaviour towards girls-students.
- Damaging/disfiguring school property.
- Indulging in physical violence in any manner.
- Disobeying lawful orders of the Principal / Vice- Principal/ T.I.C./ Teacher.
- Bringing unauthorized people/articles inside the school.
- Theft/pilferage of school/student's property.
- In above acts of misconduct, Principal shall take suitable action as per observations of the disciplinary
committee depending on the gravity of the misconduct, which may include:
- Oral/ Written warning to the student and Parents.
- Suspension from attending classes /school for a specified period.
- Recovery of loss to school property.
ENDORSEMENT
I have read the rules and regulations of the school laid down in the school diary and shall abide by them. I shall
make a regular check of my ward's diary and will take remedial measures if and when necessary.
